American Verse
The American Verse Project is a collaborative project between the University of Michigan Humanities Text Initiative (HTI) and the University of Michigan Press.  This project is a collection of American poems written prior to 1920.  Here you will find poetry from many authors dating all the way back to the 18th century.  You can search for poems written by some of your favorite authors.  

Classic Literature
If you are looking for an extensive search into classic literature, look no farther.  Here at the Project Bartleby Archive site you can find classic works from 19th and early 20th century authors.  This site is easy to navigate, and it will link you with many other sites to help give a thorough inquiry of whichever author you are looking for.

The Modern English Collection
The University of Virginia Library has created a site containing numerous works of literature.  This diversified collection holds a whole array of literature dating from 1500 to the present, arranged for browsing by author's last name or by category of interest.  Each text includes bibliographic headers with details about the creation of the electronic text and its print source. 

British Poetry 1780-1910
Need some information on some British poets?  This is the site to go to.  It is a link off of the Project Bartleby Archive site.  It gives links to various web sites that will surely help you with your search for some Emily Dickinson poetry or something written by Walk Whitman.  Some of the links have pictures from the actual text.
